It’s A Thin Line…

Buy A Thin Line HERE

By Rori Pond
If you’ve ever been in love you know how true the statement ‘It’s a thin line between love and hate’ can be. Both emotions are powerful, passionate, and cause impaired judgment. Two sides of the same coin, at times the line between the two blurs. This story allowed me to explore that phenomenon.
Wiley and Rosen were high school rivals. Rich, privileged, handsome and intelligent he got under her skin like no one else could. They’re not so friendly competition grew to be legendary. Ten years later at their reunion they discover time really does change everything as they come together in a fiery blaze of passion.

Have you ever found the one you despised has become the one you desire?

Here’s the blurb:
High school rivals, Wiley Taylor and Rosen Teague discover there's a very thin line between love and hate, when a ten year reunion yields a passion filled night unlike anything either has ever experienced. Can they start fresh and leave the past behind them?

Excerpt:
“Do you know how long I’ve wanted to do this to you? I daydreamed about this tight little body of yours every period we ever had together. I never knew I could come so hard until you became the star of my fantasies. It’s not just your looks that turned me on, but that brilliant mind, too. You were the total package yet I couldn’t touch you.”
“Why?”
“Because you had no use for someone like me back then. I knew how others viewed me, and why.  I just didn’t care.” His grip released, and he changed tactics, burying his fingers in her hair, massaging her scalp and down to her back.  .
Her bones began to turn to mush. “You should’ve taken the risk. I’ll bet while you were stroking your cock, I was doing the same to my pussy until I climaxed.” Her voice lowered. “Your name was on my lips every time.”
His eyes darkened with desire and his breath hitched. “Don’t tease me, Rosen.”
“Why else would I be letting you get away with this?” In search of more contact, she rolled her hips into him. “I dreamed of the day you’d be this hard for me. Now I want you to make it worth my while.”
Gripping her ass with his large hands, he kneaded and caressed the flesh until she whimpered. “You like that?” His raspy voice made her belly quiver.
“Yes.”
“How about this?” He gave her a hard smack, once, twice, three times and she cried out, pressing against his hand in a silent plea for more. “Shh, you’ll get us caught, naughty girl.” His large hand rubbed the stinging area and she purred like a cat. “You like it a little rough, don’t you?”
“Mmmhmm.”
“Lean over the desk.”
“What?” The odd request puzzled her.
“I want to take you the way I always dreamed—bent over with that beautiful ass in the air so I can watch it bounce while I pound into you. Are you wet for me?”
“Why don’t you find out?” She draped over the wooden surface, spread her legs wide, and paused to look over her shoulders.  “Are you going to come and check, or should I get things started on my own?”
The words spurred him into action. “No, I’ll save watching you pleasure your cunt for later.”
Later?
He stepped behind her and hiked her dress up. The cool air on her heated flesh drew a gasp from her.
“No underwear?” His voice was deep and rich with pleasure.”You’re naughtier than I ever imagined.”
“They didn’t go with the dress.”

Quick and Dirty

Buy Rub Me the Right Way HERE!

by Kelli Scott
You probably don’t know me, but I’m a hopeless romantic. On paper anyhow.

I don’t remember exactly when or where—it was on Facebook or Twitter—I saw a submissions call for Decadent Publishing’s Edge series. I was intrigued enough by the concept of short erotic stories (that do not require a romantic element) that I saved the web page on my favorites. Reading the guidelines often, I let my imagination go to places I’d never gone before, to situations I’d never considered. Dirty places. Naughty situations. I knew a storyline would eventually come to me—or not. That happens sometimes.

Here’s the thing. I don’t require my heroes and heroines to get married, engaged or even move in together at the end of my stories, especially my shorter reads. I usually expect some sort of promise for more though. A commitment. A declaration of (gulp) love. A date. Something. The prospect of not demanding that happily-ever-after or happily-for-now scenario of my characters was one part liberating and one part terrifying.

What if readers thought my heroine was a filthy whore who wants a mysterious stranger to jack her up against a wall in a dark alley and give it to her quick and dirty? Would that be so bad? Women have needs that must be met and itches that demand a long, hard scratch that leave her sore and raw the next day.

Despite my romantic inclinations in my writing (not so much in my personal life), I imagined a story, wrote it and submitted it. Rub Me the Right Way is a thrill ride on the wild side with a twist I hope you don’t see coming. Check out the blurb and excerpt and let me know what you think. Do you need a HEA ending in order to be satisfied?

Leave a comment with your thoughts and one lucky commenter will receive an e-copy of Rub Me the Right Way!

Blurb:

Heather Bowen is an uptight, stressed out insomniac in desperate need of a massage or a shrink or an orgasm to cure what ails her.
On doctor’s orders, she starts with a massage to work out her knotty/naughty kinks. At the hands of a talented massage therapist, Heather gets a full body rub down. And more. Next stop—a psychiatrist to get at the root of her anxiety and sleeplessness. But is she ready for Dr. Simon’s controversial treatment?

What begins as prescribed therapy becomes a wild fantasy ride of erotic discovery that makes Heather question her sexual orientation along with everything she believed about her carnal desires.

Sam & Cody's HEA

by Ann Mayburn

Have you ever wondered what happened to the characters of a book you loved after the story ended? Did you try to imagine what their future is like, if they’re happy, if they stayed together? I do this all the time while reading my favorite books, and I even do it for books I’ve written. One couple that stayed with me and begged me to write(yes, I talk to the people in my head) their story were Cody and Sam.

They are the hero’s in my M/M romance short story, Want, about a love so strong that gender ceases to matter. Cody thought he was as straight as they come, loved women and they loved him back. Then he met the handsome stonemason, Sam, and his whole world turned on its axis. I won’t go much more into their story than that as I don’t want to ruin the book for those that haven’t read it, but I often found myself daydreaming about what their life is like after Want ends.

When the opportunity came to write for ‘The Edge’ series I couldn’t think of a more appropriate book to write than a small peek into Sam and Cody’s world. In ‘Cherish’ we get to spend one magical evening with the men, their honeymoon. Yes, it’s super duper hot, but I really hope the story also shows the love between these two men.    Everyone deserves love, everyone deserves an HEA, and I don’t think that desire is any different between two men, a man and a woman, or a woman, a man, a man, a man, a man, and a transvestite. ;)

I do hope you enjoy this short story and for those of you that have read Want, returning to spend some time with some old friends.

Leave a comment for a chance to win a copy of Want. And then read Cherish to find out what happens next for Cody and Sam!

Happy Valentine’s Week

by Desiree Holt

The history of Valentine's Day the day for lovers (and great sex) — and its patron saint — is shrouded in mystery. But we do know that February has long been a month of romance. St. Valentine's Day, as we know it today, contains portions of both Christian and ancient Roman tradition. So, just who was Saint Valentine and how did he become associated with this ancient rite?
One legend contends that Valentine was a priest who served during the third century in Rome. When Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men — his crop of potential soldiers. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine's actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.
Other stories suggest that Valentine may have been killed for attempting to help Christians escape harsh Roman prisons where they were often beaten and tortured.
According to one legend, Valentine actually sent the first "valentine" greeting himself. While in prison, it is believed that Valentine fell in love with a young girl — who may have been his jailor's daughter — who visited him during his confinement. Before his death, it is alleged that he wrote her a letter, which he signed "From your Valentine," an expression that is still in use today. Although the truth behind the Valentine legends is murky, the stories certainly emphasize his appeal as a sympathetic, heroic, and, most importantly, romantic figure. It's no surprise that by the Middle Ages, Valentine was one of the most popular saints in England and France.
Forget the roses. Nothing says Happy Valentine’s Day like an amazing bottle of fine wine. Pairing it will great chocolates, music, and food add up to the perfect formula for love.
But chocolate wine says it all. A special drink for lovers that appeals to all the senses. Where can you find it besides your local wine shop? Why at Valentino’s, the gourmet food and wine shoppe around which the mini-series Valentino’s Delight revolves. It’s by the Sassy Seven and is all part of the terrific new series from Decadent, The Edge. Like hot sex? Hot love? Sex with strangers?Sex with reunited lovers? All flavored with chocolate wine?
Then dip your toe into this new series.
Here’s a taste from my contribution, Lust Becomes You.

Blurb:
Kylie Monroe fell in love and in lust with Sam Cooper, reaching new highs of ecstasy as they explored the world of BDSM.  She foresaw a rich life together filled with love and erotic sex. When Sam dumped her to pursue success in the legal field, telling her there was “always tomorrow,” she never quite recovered from the hurt. Ten years passed leaving Kylie gun-shy in the love department and frustrated in the sex department. Nobody could replace Sam. Then on a snowy Valentine’s Day she had an unexpected opportunity to reconnect with him. But could Sam persuade her their love was real this time? Could he woo her back with the kind of sex she’d been missing?

Excerpt:
“Hey, Kylie. What brings you out on a night like this?” Valentino hollered to her from behind the counter where he was wrapping wine and chocolates. “Valentine’s Day and romance, like everyone else?” he laughed. “I love it.”
No wonder. Valentino’s Gourmet Food and Wine Shoppe was packed with smiling people besotted with that stupid guy in diapers. What the hell was she doing here, anyway, with all these people who thought celebrating a guy in a diaper was romantic.
Buying your annual bottle of chocolate wine, the kind you and Sam drank, and weeping over it like some idiot.
The shop was jammed tonight, people everywhere looking over the Valentine’s food basket specials and the cutesy little wine wrappers and cork screws special for the day. In the wine tasting corner people were sampling the specials of the day while others nibbled on tiny crackers and gourmet cheese while they waited their turn in line. It was enough to make you sick.
“Hey, Val,” she heard one of the clerks shout. “We making deliveries tonight?”
“Now? You gotta be kidding me. The driving’s so bad I told the kid to go home after his last stop. Who is it, anyway?”
“Sam . He wants a half a dozen bottles of that chocolate wine.”
“What?”
Kylie froze in place. Sam ? In this city? If he was ordering chocolate wine it had to be her Sam.
Hers? He hadn’t been hers in forever. Not since their last time together when he’d said they needed to get settled in their careers before getting into anything serious. Funny. She’d thought they were already serious. She’d never mentioned her desire for BDSM to any of the men she’d tried to be interested in. They’d run as fast as they could. But god, she missed it. And Sam.
Was he married? Single? Engaged? Did he even remember her?
Without thinking she hurried over pushed her way through the crowd to Val.
“I’ll deliver the wine for you.”
Val was so startled he almost dropped the bottles he was wrapping. “Kylie, it’s freezing out and we’re expecting more snow. Besides, I don’t expect my customers to fill in for my delivery guy.”
“Where does he live? Is it far?”
The people in line were groaning their dissatisfaction at the interruption.
“Only in the next block, but–“
“I know him. I think. Is he a lawyer?”
Val nodded as he continued to wrap and sack purchases.
A lawyer. Sam . Chocolate wine. It had to be the right one.
“Well, then. It will give me a good chance to say hello.” She forced a smile. “Really. Okay?”
He shrugged. “I think you’re crazy but if that’s what you want you got it.” He looked over his shoulder to the clerk still holding the phone. “Tell  his order’s on the way.”
She buttoned up her coat again and wrapped her scarf tightly. Pulled her gloves on and took the tote bag from the clerk who’d gotten it ready.
